Ingredients:
- Basmati Rice – 1/2 cup
- Mixed vegetables – 1/2 cup
- Onion – 1
- Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
- Salt
- Green chilli – 2
- Bay leaf – 1
- Milk – 1 cup
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Chopped mint and coriander leaves – a handful
Method:
In a cooker heat oil and ghee. Add bay leaf.
Add sliced onions and saute it till brown. Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste.
Add all veggies, salt and sauce it for3 mins.
Add chopped mint and coriander leaves.
Now add the rice stir for a minute.
Add 1 cup of milk and 1.5 cups of water. Check for salt and close the lid.
Let it cook for 2 whistles and wait till the pressure completely settles down. Add a tsp of ghee after opening the lid. Serve it with some pomegranate raita.
