Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe/How to make simple and easy Vegetable Fried rice
Fried rice is a classic Chinese rice dish which is famous worldwide. Indo chinese dishes has become a major part of our Indian street food these days. Perfectly cooked rice is stir fried along with veggies or meat in a wok. Make sure you use high quality basmati rice for a nice aroma. Try not to overcook the veggies, and datsy I use to chop them into very thin pieces to make it little crunchy. In most of the restaurants and street foods MSG or ajinomotto is used as a key ingredient in most Chinese dishes especially fried rice which makes it more tasty. I suggest you not to use any such things which are very hazardous for our health. Even wthout using these things you can make your dish tasty. There are many varieties of fried rice across world and here I have shared with you a simple vegetable fried rice which tastes too good with any gravy. - 1 cup Basmati rice
- 100 gms Carrot
- 100 gms Beans
- 100 gms Cabbage
- 2 cups Spring onion
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1.5 tsp Soya sauce
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tsp Pepper powder
- 6-7 Garlic
Chop all the veggies into fine pieces. Cook rice separately and let it cool (If you are cooking using pressure cooker wash and drain the water and keep it for 30 mins. Add 1.5 cups of water and cook for upto 1 whistle).
Heat oil in a large wok and add chopped garlic. Saute for a min.
Add all the veggies except spring onion and sugar. Keep in high flame and saute till the veggies are half done.
Add soya sauce and spring onions (keep some for garnishing). Mix well and saute for a minute.
Now add the cooked rice, salt and pepper. Toss it well. Garnish it with spring onions.
Serve it hot.
