Ingredients:
- Dry Fish (any)-200 gms
- Dry Chillies – 10(crushed)
- Coconut – 1 cup
- Shallots – handful
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Chilly powder – 1/4 tsp
- Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
To temper :
- Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- Dry chillies
Method:
Wash dry fish well and add chilly powder, pepper powder and marinate for 20 mins. Once done fry it until its crispy.Once cooled add this to a mixer and crush.
In a pan heat oil add mustard seeds, dry chillies and curry leaves. Once they splutter add crushed shallots and chilly flakes.
Add coconut once shallots turn light brown. Saute till its roasted. Add turmeric and salt if needed.
To this add crushed dry fish and mix well.
You can serve this with hot porridge or boiled rice.
