Lassi is a traditional yogurt based drink widely famous across India. Seasonal fruits such as mangoes, strawberries and many others are added to it for variations. Frozen fruits or canned fruits can also be used to prepare this yogurt smoothie. Whenever I have a hearty meal Lassi is what I always crave for. This is like a dessert which never makes me feel guilty. My daughter is very fond of starwberries and hence whenever it arrives at market I buy it in bulk and freeze it. Sometimes I pour this lassi into popsicle moulds and she enjoys it more. If the starwberries are more sour then adjust the sweetness accordingly to bring the perfect balance. Make sure your curd is fresh and thick, only then you get the perfect taste. Some people add a pich of cardamon for flavour, but I prefer cardamon with mangoes or plain lassi.
