Soya Matar Masala Curry Recipe/ Soya Chunks Peas Curry/ Tasty Soya Chunks Curry for Appam/ Idiyappam
Soya Chunks or otherwise known as Meal maker has a high protein content which exceeds eggs, meat and milk. This is a very good source of protein for all vegetarians. These days I have almost stopped having chicken and even if I do I make sure to buy Country chicken. So whenever I feel like having chicken I go for soya chunks which is one of the best alternative for chicken. Yes of course there is huge taste difference and my 3 year old daughter could easily identify it is not chicken 😛 But I think we should make some compromises for a balanced health.
I very often used to include soya in my diet and You can use the same preparation method as you do for chicken. This Soya Matar Masala Curry is one of my favourites. I prepare this mostly with Idiyappam as I don't roast the coconut for this recipe. I prepare Potato masala curry for appams with roasted coconut the recipe of which is already there in my blog. You can try this recipe with other veggies also. This Soya masala curry will also go very well with Veg pulao or Biriyani. Learn how to make this tasty Soya Matar Masala Curry with stepwise pics.
