Sorakka Adai/ Bottle Gourd Adai
- 1 cup bottle gourd
- 1 cup rice
- 3/4 cup Toor dal
- 3 Red chillies
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 2 Onions chopped
- Curry leaves
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
Soak rice and dal for 4 hours. Grind bottle gourd and red chillies to a smooth paste. Then add rice and dal to make a thin batter.
Add salt, onion, curry leaves, turmeric powder, hing and mix well.
Spread oil on tawa (preferably gingelly oil) and make Adai dosa when tawa is hot. Pour oil generously to make crispy and tasty dosa.
Adai and Avial is certainly an ultimate combination !!!
