Simple Kadhi Recipe
- 2 cups Sour Curd
- 3 tbsp besan/ gram flour
- 2 cups water or more if you want it to be watery
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Curry leaves
- 3 Red chillies
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
In a bowl take curd and besan. Mix it well without any lumps. Add water and mix well.
In a kadai heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, red chillies. Add turmeric powder and asafoetida.
Add the curd mixture and salt. Let it come to boil. Stir continuously.
Switch off when you get the desired consistency. (Don't make it thick since it tends to get thicker once cooled.)
This tastes yum with rice and some pickle.
