Shahi Paneer is a North Indian delicacy which is very easy to make and tastes very rich. Learn how to make this yummy Paneer curry with stepwise pics.
- 400 gms Paneer
- 2 big Onions chopped
- 5 small Tomatoes pureed
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 3 tbsp ghee
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 Cloves
- 2 Cardamon
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- Coriander leaves
- 20 Cashews soaked in 1/4 cup warm water and grinder to smooth paste
In a kadai heat ghee, add bay leaf, cloves and cardamon.
Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
Add onions and sugar. Let it become golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes.
Add tomato puree, chilli powder and salt. Cook till oil separates.
Add coriander leaves and mix well.
Add cashew paste and mix well. Let it cooker 5 mins.
Add paneer cubes and combine well. Cook till paneer turns soft.
Shahi Paneer is ready.
