Sautekayi Uppittu/ Cucumber Upma
- 1 cup Rice rava/ Akki rava
- 2 Onions chopped
- 4 Green chillies chopped
- 1 cup Cucumber chopped
- Coriander leaves
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp Urad dal
- 1 tbsp Channa dal
- Curry leaves
- 1/2 cup Coconut
In a kadai roast rava till it becomes slightly brown.
In the same kadai heat oil, add mustard seeds , urad dal, channa dal, Curry leaves.
Add onions and chillies. Saute for 3 mins.
Add cucumber and salt. Saute till it becomes soft.
Add 4 cups of water and salt. Let it boil.
Add rava and mix well.
Add coconut and coriander leaves. Mix well. Cover and cook till it is done.
Serve hot with pickle or chutney.
