Ingredients:
- Raw papaya – 1
- Onion – 1/2 chopped
- Salt
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Chilly powder – 1/4 tsp
To grind:
- Coconut – 1/2 cup
- Cumin – 1/4 tsp
- Green chillies – 2
- Garlic pods – 2
To temper:
- Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- Dry chillies
Method:
Cut papaya into small cubes and cook adding 1/4 cup water and salt.
In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves. Once mustard seeds are spluttered add onions and saute.
Coarse grind all the items mentioned to a coarse paste.
Add this to the pan and cook till raw smell goes of.
Add cooked papaya, turmeric, chilly powder and saute till its done.
