Nendran Pazham Pradhaman/ Banana Payasam
Nendran Pazham Pradhaman is very famous dessert in Kerala where the Nendran bananas are cooked in jaggery syrup and coconut milk. It is prepared on some special occasions like Onam, Vishu etc. Whenever I decide to prepare something out of Nendran bananas the first thing would be Nendran pazha appam(my all time favourite) and the next would be this payasam. Unlike the other payasams it has a mild sourness which enhances the taste of this payasam. Make sure you use fully riped bananas for this recipe. This same recipe can be made with jackfruit also which is popularly know as Chakka Pazha Pradhaman in Kerala. Learn how to make this tasty Nendran Pazham Pradhaman/ Banana Payasam with stepwise pics
