- 4 Large Nendran bananas
- 1 cup Maida
- 1/4 cup Sugar + 2 tbsp for extra sweetness
- 2 Cardamon
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 pinch Baking soda
- Coconut oil For frying
Take sugar and cardamon in a blender and grind it to powder.
Add maida, baking soda, turmeric powder and sufficient water. Mix it to form a thick batter without lumps.
Cut bananas into pieces.
Heat oil in kadai. When it is hot (check by dropping little batter into oil. If it pops immediately then the temperature is perfect), keep at medium flame. Dip banana into the batter so that it is evenly coated and gently drop into hot oil. Fry both side till it is cooked. Place in a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
