Naatu Kozhi Kuzhambu/ Country Chicken Curry

- 1 Kg Naatu Kozhi/ country chicken
- 1/4 cup Garlic
- 1.5 inch Ginger
- 1 cup Coconut
- 2 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 8 Red chillies
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 cups Shallots finely chopped
- 1 cup Tomato chopped
- Curry leaves
- Rock salt
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp Gingelly oil
- Coriander leaves
Take ginger and garlic and crush it coarsely.
Take the ingredients for masala.
Heat a kadai add coriander, pepper, red chilly and pepper. Sauce till aroma comes. Now add coconut and roast till it runs nice golden brown. Grind it to a paste.
Clean chicken, add ginger garlic, salt, turmeric powder and 1/2 cup water. Cook it upto 8 whistles.
Chop shallots and tomatoes finely. In a kadai heat oil, add onions and curry leaves.
Add tomatoes and cook till it turns soft.
Add the grinded paste and this onion tomato mixture to the chicken.
Add sufficient water and salt. Add coriander leaves and let it boil.
Tasty and healthy Naatu Kozhi Kuzhambu is ready.
