- 1 cup Besan/ Gram flour
- 1.5 cups Ghee
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup water
In a non stick pan take besan and roast it in medium flame till nice aroma comes. Now sieve it to remove any lumps and let it cool.
Mix 1/2 cup of ghee with it, stir well and keep aside.
In the same non stick pan take sugar and 1/4 cup water. Cook it in low flame. Let all the sugar dissolve and reach one string consistency.
Now add the besan ghee mixture and stir continuously in less flame. Once the ghee is absorbed completely add 1/4 cup ghee and stir again. Add ghee in batches and keep stirring till it reaches a smooth consistency and separates from pan.
Pour it in a greased plate and let it rest for 45 mins. Flip and cut it into pieces.
Soft and tasty Mysore pak is ready.
