grated Ginger – 1 tbsp
Water – 2 cups
Cinnamon stick – a small piece
ground turmeric – 1/4 tsp
juice of one fresh lemon
honey – as per taste
- Take grated ginger and water in a sauce pan and bring it to boil. Reduce the flame and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Now add the cinnamon stick and turmeric and simmer in low heat for another 10 mins. Keep stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let it cool down. Add lemon juice and honey.
