Moong Dal Chilla Recipe/ How to make Moong dal Cheela?
Moong Dal Chilla is a very healthy and easy to make recipe. This can be served as a breakfast or can be had as a snack too. Try adding more onions and veggies so that it tastes just like omlette. - 1 cup Moong Dal
- 2 Onions chopped
- 3 Green chillies finely chopped
- Coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder optional
- Oil for making chillas
Wash Moong dal and soak it for 3-4 hours. Grind it to a smooth paste adding little water.
Now add chopped onions, chillies, turmeric powder, salt, coriander leaves and cumin powder. Mix it well.
Apply oil on tawa and heat it. Once the tawa is hot pour a paddle full of batter and spread it evenly. Drizzle oil on top and cover it. Once it is done flip sides and cook till it is done.
Enjoy this hot moong dal chilla with chutney or sauce.
