Mango Lassi Recipe/ How to make Mango Lassi
Mango lassi is a delicious Indian dessert where the juicy mangoes are blended with fresh yougurt. Lassi is my favorite drink and since this is a healthy option to treat my sweet tooth I prepare it more often after lunch. I have already shared the recipe for Strawberry lassi with you guys. In Bangalore we get wide varieties of mangoes and everything has its unique taste. I always hear people say that alphonso mangoes are the best and nothing can match its taste. But I think there are many other varieties of mangoes available (like mallika, byganapalli etc...the name may differ in places) which are equally good like alphonso. I used the variety called mallika for this recipe and since it was too sweet I had to use only little sugar. The colour of it was soo tempting I couldn't wait till I click pics (and datsy the glasses are not full :P). Make sure you use fresh curd for this recipe orelse the sour curd alongwith the mangoes sourness will make it very tangy. And as already metioned since the mangoes which I used were very sweet I had to use only little sweetener, but you can adjust taste accordingly. If the mangoes which you use has more fibres then you can sieve it for a smooth texture. Learn how to make this tasty Mango Lassi.
