This a very tasty dish cooked in Kerala. On the season of mangoes we make this special dish which is prepared with mangoes, coconut and butter milk. Lets see how to make it..
- 1 large riped mango cut into cubes
- Curd – 2 cups
- Green chilly – 3
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – 7
- Red chilly – 2
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Coconut – 1 cup
- Green chillies – 3
- Garlic -3
- Ginger – a small piece
- Small onions – 2
In a vessel take mangoes ,add water, turmeric powder, salt and boil. Once it is cooked smash the mangoes roughly.
Grind the ingredients given to a smooth paste.
In a bowl take cooked mango, coconut paste and curd. Add salt, sufficient water mix it nicely.
Pour it in a cooking vessel and place it on medium flame.Don’t let it boil for more time. Keep stirring in between with a beater. Switch off after 5 mins.
In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, Red chilly, curry leaves.
Add this to the curry.
