- Crab – 3/4 kg
- Big Onion – 4
- Chilly powder – 1 tbsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder – 2 tbsp
- Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
- Tomato – 2 big chopped finely
- Ginger – big piece
- Garlic – 10 cloves
- Fennel seeds – 1/2 tbsp
- Whole pepper – 1.5 tsp
- Curry leaves – 3 strings
- Green chilly – 2
- Coconut oil – 3 tbsp
Grind ginger, garlic, fennel seeds and pepper coarsely.
in a pan heat 3 tbsp of oil, add grinder paste and curry leaves.
Once the raw smell goes add onions green chillies, salt and saute till it turns soft.
Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder. Saute for 5 mins.
Add tomatoes. Cover and cook till the gravy turns soft and mushy. Add crab and 1 cup of water. Cook till the gravy thickens and completely gets covered over crab.
