Jamun Lemonade Recipe/ Black Plum Lemonade
Jamun or Java plum also called as Naval pazham in Tamil is a seasonal fruit. Heaps of this plumpy jamuns on roadsides shops would make anyone tempted. The unique taste and colour of this jamun makes it very special. Eventhough the jamuns thesedays looks so plumpy and shiny, it is not as tasty as the ones we use to get earlier at my hometown. I still remember that old woman who brings jamuns in a palm leaf basket. It was not so fresh and good looking but those tiny ones were still tastier and more juicy. We use to ask her for jamuns without sand...with all smile she picksup the fruits carefully and distributes it in newspaper bits. She sweetly insists us to wash it before having..And what is more interesting is she used to give a handfull of fruits just for 1 rupee... And I wonder what made jamun's price reach such a peak!!!
I bought jamuns last week and prepared this lemonade which turned out awesome. The colour of this juice was so attractive which your kids are surely gonna love. Learn how to make this tasty Jamun lemonade with stepwise pics.
