Ingredients

  • 50 gms Almonds
  • 1 litre Milk
  • 6 tbsps Sugar or any sweetener of your choice
  • 4-5 Cardamons
  • Saffron strands
  • Rose petals for garnishing

Recipe Notes

Soak the almonds overnight and peel off the skin. Alternatively you can soak it in warm water for 30 mins so that the skin comes out easily. Take it in blender and add 3 tbsps of milk. Grind it to a smooth paste.

Take the remaining milk in a saucepan and bring it to a boil.

Once it is boiled simmer the flame and add crushed cardamons and saffron strands. Mix well.

Add the badam paste and let it cook for nearly 15 mins in low flame. Keep stirring so that the milk doesn't get burned.

Add required amount of sugar and let it dissolve completely. Let it cool and then strain it. Refrigerate it for upto 3-4 hours.

Garnish the badam milk with some rose petals and serve chilled.
