Grated Raw Mango – 1.5 cups
Sugar – 1 cup
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Chilly Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Mix mango and sugar thoroughly in a bowl and keep it aside for an hour.
- transfer this mixture to a pan and stir it.
- Let it cook in low flame for 10 mins.
- Now add salt, turmeric and chilly powder and mix it. Let it cook till the mango turns soft.
- This jam tastes very good with spicy biriyani.
