Garlic Tomato Semiya
- 1 cup Vermicelli
- 2 Onion sliced
- 2 Tomato
- 15 Garlic chopped
- 4 Green chillies
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
In a kadai roast vermicelli till it becomes brown. Remove it and let it cool.
In the same kadai heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, curry leaves. Add onions and saute till golden brown. Add chillies and garlic.
Add tomatoes, salt and turmeric powder. Cook till it becomes soft.
Add 2 cups of water and cover. Let the water boil. Now add the roasted semiya, sufficient salt and cover and cook till it is done.
This tastes good with coconut chutney.
