This is a very simple and tasty South Indian Chutney. This hot Garlic chutney tastes very good with dosa or idly.
- 1 cup Garlic
- 8 Red chillies
- 1 Tomato
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp Urad dal
- Curry leaves
- 1 Tamarind a small piece
In a kadai heat oil and roast red chillies for 2 mins. Remove and roast garlic till it turns golden brown.
Now roast tomatoes till they turn soft. Let it cool.
Take roasted chilly, garlic, tomatoes along with tamarind and salt in a blender.
Grind it to a paste.
Temper with mustard, urad dal and curry leaves.
