Eggless Whole Wheat Banana Cake
Banana cake is always my favourite. This recipe is for simple eggless banana cake, I have used wheat instead of all purpose flour which makes it a more healthy option. Here I have used coconut oil, but if you don't like the flavour of coconut oil you can use melted butter or any other vegetable oil.
- 4 large banana Pureed
- 1.5 cups Whole wheat
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1.5 tsp Baking soda
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Cinnamon powder
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2/3 cup Coconut oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup milk Add more if you want to adjust the consistency
In a bowl take the banana puree, add sugar, vanilla essence and coconut oil. Beat it well till the sugar gets dissolved.
Sieve all the dry ingredients together.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Add milk according to the consistency (we should get a dropping consistency).
Grease a 6 inch baking tray and pour the batter. Bake it in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 mins.
Let it cool down completely and then flip the tray.
Perfect tea time banana cake is ready.
