- 4 Eggs boiled
- 1 tsp Pepper corns
- 1 tsp Poppy seeds
- 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 5 cloves
- 2 Green chillies
- 4 Red chillies
- 1/4 cup coconut
- 2 Onions
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- 3 tbsp Oil
Keep all the ingredients ready.
In a kadai heat oil. Add pepper and cloves. Add onions and sauce for 2 mins.
Add ginger garlic paste and green chilli. Cook till the raw smell goes.
Add turmeric powder and poppy seeds. Add tomatoes and coconut. Saute till the coconut becomes golden brown.
Blend everything to a fine paste.
In kadai take the puree along with little water and salt.. Add coriander leaves and let it boil.
Now add the boiled eggs (you can fry/ toast and add if you like). Let it cook for another 5 mins.
Tasty Egg Kolhapuri is ready.
