Chow chow Stir fry/ Chayote Stir fry
- 3 Chow chow/ chayote
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp Urad dal
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 3 Red chillies
- 3 Garlic
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
Peel the skin and cut chow chow into small pieces.
Grind all the given ingredients coarsely.
In a kadai heat oil, splutter mustard seeds and urad dal.
Add chow chow, salt and and mix well. Cover and cook till it is done.
Add the grinded paste and mix well. Let it cook for another 5 mins.
Thoran is ready.
