Bread Upma Recipe/ How to make easy bread Upma
Bread Upma is very easy to prepare snack or tiffin which is famous in South India. Whenever I have some leftover bread and a little 'me' time I prepare this snack for myself. After finishing my household works (and if my daughter is slept)... bread upma, hot coffee and a novel is what I crave the most. I enjoy this snack leisurely most of the times. After preparing this I drizzle some coconut oil over top for that extra flavour.
- 2 Onions
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Peas
- 1 Carrot
- 2 Green chillies
- Coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 2 tbsp Tomato sauce
- 10 Bread slices
- 1 tbsp Oil
Cut all the veggies and keep it ready.
Heat oil in a kadai, add onions and chillies. Saute for 2 mins.
Add the remaining veggies, turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt. Cook till the raw smell goes.
Add tomato sauce and mix well.
Crumble the bread slices. Add this to the onions. Add little more salt and combine together.
Bread Upma is ready to be served.
