Chop beetroot and grind it in a blender.
Add this to atta, add salt, little oil and mix it well.
Now add sufficient water and make a dough. Keep it for 30 mins and then start making pooris.
Serve it with poori masala.
- Potato – 3(boiled and peeled)
- Onions – 3 sliced
- Green chillies – 6 chopped
- Garlic – 15 chopped
- Coriander leaves chopped
- Curry leaves
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Channa dal – 1 tbsp
In a kadai heat oil, add mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal.
Add onions and curry leaves. Sauce till it turns soft and translucent.
Add chopped garlic, ginger and chillies. Add salt.
Add turmeric powder and coriander leaves. Sauce till the garlic is cooked.
Mash potatoes roughly and add it.Cook in medium flame for 10 mins.
Poori masala is ready to be served.
