Baby corn fry
This is a saute of baby corn and capsicums combined with delicate flavours. The taste is very mild and your kids will definitely like it. It can be served as a starter or side dish for fried rice.
Ingredients
- 7 Baby corns
- 1 Onion
- 1/2 cup Red and green bell peppers
- 6 Garlic chopped finely
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp Butter
- salt
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp Black pepper corns
Recipe Notes
Cut and keep all the veggies ready.
In a pan dry roast fennel and pepper till nice aroma comes. Let it cool and grind coarsely.
Melt butter in a pan, add garlic, onions and curry leaves. Let it become brown.
Add baby corns and salt. Fry till it becomes golden brown.
Add turmeric powder and mix well. Add capsicums and coriander leaves. Cook till it is done. Do not over cook capsicums.
Now add the grounded masala. Cook in high flame for 2 mins.
Baby corn fry is ready.
