- 1 cup Rice
- 3/4 cup Channa Dal
- 5 Red chillies
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 2 Onions chopped
- 1/4 cup Curry leaves chopped
- 1/4 cup Coriander leaves chopped
- Gingelly oil For frying dosas.
Wash rice and dal. Soak it for upto 4-5 hours.
Grind it adding red chillies, asafoetida, turmeric powder and salt. It should be a bit thinner than dosa batter. Add chopped onions, coriander leaves, curry leaves and mix well.
Heat tawa and applying gingelly oil. Pour a spoonful of batter and spread evenly. Pour gingerly oil generously and let it get cooked. Flip sides when the bottom turns golden brown.
